Decals are removable, you can leave them in place as long as you like, they will light up every night until you remove them.

How many do you need?

This star set has 414 HALO Stars of varying sizes and brightness levels - That's enough to cover a small bedroom ceiling, or a very dense area over a bed.

COVERAGE: 414 Stars - Dense coverage in the area just over your bed, or a small bedroom ceiling. (up to 30-80 Sq ft)

Double or triple your order if you have a larger bedroom, or want to cover your walls with stars too.

DO YOU NEED A BLACKLIGHT?

NO SPECIAL LIGHTING REQUIRED for a realistic glow (they do need light during the day to charge though)

However - I do recommend a black light for easy installation - it makes so much easier to see them as you put them up - A Black light will also charge your stars 100% allowing you to see color hues and details in our hand painted decals.

Helpful Hints:

Decals and Star murals are designed to blend into your light or white bedroom ceiling/wall by day. If your ceiling is a darker color I recommend our Halo Star set made for Black, Blue, or darker colored ceilings: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1241308463

The darker the room the better. LED lights should be covered for best viewing. Make your ceiling look as black as possible by removing all extra light sources and your glow in the dark stars and decals will look amazing.

No UV BLACK LIGHTS are required, but they do fully charge the glow paint that we use and you will see a lot more color initially if you do choose to use a black light.

FOR NEWLY PAINTED SURFACES - Please allow 30 days for your paint to cure before applying decals.

Decals adhere to clean residue free surfaces.

Decals may not stick to graffiti proof paints, low voc/no voc paints without preparation -- PLEASE TEST YOUR CEILING - YOU CAN USE A PIECE OF SELF ADHESIVE CONTACT PAPER, OR LOW TAC PAINTERS TAPE - IF THE TAPE DOESN'T WANT TO ADHERE, OR FALLS OFF

WITHIN 24 HOURS YOU'LL NEED TO PREP THE SURFACE BY WIPING DOWN 2X WITH ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL (70% IS GOOD)
